RB Benson staying with Bengals (AP)

In this Dec. 14, 2008, file photo, Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson, shown in an NFL football game against the Washington Redskins in Cincinnati, has re-signed with the Bengals. Benson started the last 10 games of the 2008 season for the Bengals.

Free-agent running back Cedric Benson decided on Tuesday to stay with the Cincinnati Bengals, who gave him the chance to resurrect his career last season. Benson accepted a two-year deal from the Bengals, who liked what he did late last season and wanted him to stay as their top running back.
